Buffalo Bills Depth Chart FAQ. Buffalo is looking to capture an AFC East title for the first time in two decades. They traded for Stefon Diggs to line him up with John Brown and give Josh Allen another weapon to throw to. They also drafted Zack Moss, who is going to form a committee with Devin Singletary. A All-America and Pac 12 Offensive Player of the Year Award winner.
One could argue Allen is bound to improve in simply because Kelvin Benjamin is no longer in Buffalo to waste 62 targets with the worst catch rate in the NFL.
The one-time promising receiver was cut in December, leaving Zay Jones as the closest thing to a traditional No. But the Bills are wise to recognize a true No.
Jones, who led the team with routes run from the slot last season about half of his snaps , will be much more comfortable outside now that Buffalo has Cole Beasley to do most of the dirty work inside.
Robert Foster, who led the team in PFF's wide receiver rating last season, returns as another solid outside threat.
In addition to Beasley, the Bills also signed John Brown in free agency. If Brown can stay healthy — and this has proven to be a big "if" during his five-year career — he will be a huge asset to an offense that otherwise might struggle to threaten defenses in the deep passing game.
NFL coaches often say things that sound nice, but in reality, the words are rooted in bad news. That's what the Bills coach said after free-agent signee Tyler Kroft went down with a broken foot in OTAs, leaving his status for camp and the start of the regular season in doubt.
Kroft was supposed to replace Charles Clay as Buffalo's No. Knox is in the lead for that role after a strong spring. This development — especially considering Kroft broke the same foot last season with the Bengals — is less than ideal.
Can alter his running style on the fly. A power inside runner that pushes piles, but also shows the ability to get slippery in space.
Plenty of yards after initial contact, rarely goes down right away. Has been a weapon in the passing game for two seasons, displaying soft hands and the ability to bring in balls away from his body.
Can get a little heavy with his foot speed at times. Could use work on his body, getting rid of some bad weight.
Has durability issues, as he has missed games three out of four years with different injuries. Needs to keep hammering away at blocking techniques.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie hasn't been mentioned too often this season due to the fact that this team is stacked on offense.
He has been buried on the depth chart, but was able to make an impact in Week McKenzie caught both of his targets for 31 yards and one touchdown in the win over the San Francisco 49ers.
This was the best performance by McKenzie all season long, but he won't be on the fantasy radar going forward.
The Bills are loaded and McKenzie won't get involved enough to be a relevant fantasy option. Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox has not been a strong fantasy option all year long, but he finally turned in a decent performance in Week 13 against the 49ers on Monday night.
He caught all four of his targets for 27 yards and one touchdown in the win over the San Francisco 49ers. Those four receptions were a season-high for Knox on the year.
He has caught a touchdown pass in two straight weeks, but fantasy managers shouldn't get too excited. Knox will be a weak streaming option against the tough Pittsburgh Steelers Defense next week.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis has seen a bigger role in the offense with John Brown calf likely done for the season.
He hauled in three of his four targets for 68 yards and one touchdown in the Week 13 win over the San Francisco 49ers. This marked the second straight week that Davis has hauled in a touchdown reception.
Sadly, his value is limited since he's the third option behind Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley. He hauled in 10 of 11 targets for 92 yards in the win on Monday night.
This performance marked Diggs third catch performance of the season. He has become a favorite target of quarterback Josh Allen.
He hauled in nine of his 11 targets for yards and one touchdown in the Week 13 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.
This was the second time in three weeks that Beasley has finished with over receiving yards. The fact thatJohn Brown calf is sidelined on Injured Reserve has given Beasley more targets in the offense recently.
